PlotDrip Terms of Service

Welcome to PlotDrip ("Platform"), a community-driven space for reading and sharing stories. By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and our Child Safety Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

3. User-Generated and AI-Generated Content

Ownership: You retain ownership of original content you create and share on the Platform.

AI-Generated Content:

The Platform provides features for AI-generated text and images. Content created using these tools may be used, displayed, and distributed by PlotDrip within the Platform, and may be subject to additional license restrictions as required by the AI providers or governing law.
By using AI generation features, you agree that the resulting content may be used by other users within PlotDrip or by PlotDrip for promotional purposes, subject to these Terms.

License: By posting content (including AI-generated content), you grant PlotDrip a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute your content within the Platform.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all content you publish, whether human- or AI-generated, including any compliance with applicable laws and respect for third-party rights.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Post or generate content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
Use the AI features to create or disseminate unlawful, harmful, or misleading content.
Infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others, including using AI features to replicate or appropriate copyrighted materials.
Engage in unauthorized advertising or solicitation.
Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.

5. Content Moderation

The Platform reserves the right to:

Remove or modify content, including AI-generated content, that violates these Terms or is deemed inappropriate.
Suspend or terminate accounts for violations.

6. Privacy

We value your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, excluding user-generated and AI-generated content, is the property of VecType LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Users may not use, reproduce, or distribute Platform content without written permission from VecType LLC, except as allowed under these Terms.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform and its AI features are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind.
AI-generated text and images are created algorithmically and may not always be accurate, original, or error-free.
VecType LLC is not responsible for any damages or liabilities arising from the use of user- or AI-generated content, or reliance on information generated by the Platform.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any AI-generated content does not violate laws or third-party rights.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
