Child Safety Policy for PlotDrip
Last Updated: July 16, 2025
PlotDrip is committed to creating a safe and positive environment for all our users. We have a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This document outlines our standards and practices to prevent, detect, and respond to any material or behavior that endangers children.
This policy applies to all users and content on the PlotDrip platform.
1. Our Commitment to Child Safety
PlotDrip is dedicated to protecting children from harm. We prohibit any content or activity that involves child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or the sexual exploitation of children. We work to proactively identify and remove such content and report it to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC), as required by law.
2. Definitions
- Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE): Refers to any content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children. This includes, but is not limited to, grooming a child for sexual exploitation, sextorting a child, trafficking a child for sex, or otherwise sexually exploiting a child.
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): Refers to any visual depiction, including photos, videos, and computer-generated imagery, that shows a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
3. Prohibited Content and Behaviors
The following are strictly prohibited on PlotDrip:
- Creating, Sharing, or Storing CSAM: Users may not create, upload, share, or store any content that qualifies as CSAM.
- Grooming and Enticement: Any attempt to build a relationship with a minor for the purpose of sexual exploitation is forbidden.
- Sextortion: Threatening to distribute private or sexual images of a minor is strictly prohibited.
- Solicitation of Minors: Any attempt to solicit a minor for sexual purposes is forbidden.
- Human Trafficking: Using PlotDrip to facilitate the trafficking of children for sexual purposes is strictly prohibited.
4. Reporting and Enforcement
We empower our users to help us maintain a safe community.
- In-App Reporting: PlotDrip provides an in-app mechanism for users to report any content or user that they believe violates this policy. This can be accessed through a "Report" button, which is available on user profiles, stories, chapters, pages, and characters.
- Investigation and Action: Our safety team will promptly review all reports. If we find content or behavior that violates this policy, we will take appropriate action, which may include:
- Removing the offending content.
- Suspending or permanently terminating the user's account.
- Reporting the content and user to law enforcement and NCMEC.
5. Compliance with Laws
PlotDrip complies with all applicable laws regarding child safety, including the reporting requirements for CSAM. We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations related to child exploitation. In addition to reporting to NCMEC in the United States, we are committed to reporting to the appropriate national or regional authorities for users outside of the US, guided by the standards of international organizations like INHOPE.
